About Titanic the Experience Information

Tour
Get a chance to explore through the history of the most famous ship in the world, the Titanic.  The Orlando attraction is part museum and part living history, as your tour guide through the exhibition is in full character and wearing period clothing.  They play the role of Titanic notables like Edward J. Smith (the Captain), Thomas Andrews (the architect of the Titanic), Molly Brown (played by Kathy Bates in James Cameron’s Titanic), and many more.  During your hour-long guided tour through replicas of many famous Titanic rooms, the guides share with you detailed knowledge about the history of the Titanic and aspects of the historical character they play.

Recreations
Wander about full-scale recreations of rooms from Titanic and learn about the life and times of its passengers.  Notice the difference in cutlery and living when you visit the First Class parlor suite and the Verandah Café.  Feel the coldness of the Atlantic air on the Promenade Deck.  Visit the Marconi room, which was supposed to be the most advance information room of its time, but the most impressive recreation has to be Titanic’s Grand Staircase.  The magnificence of the room allowed its First Class passengers to travel between decks with grace. But alas, all these rooms have been underwater for about 100 years.  In the underwater exhibit, there’s an eight foot replica of the Titanic to illustrate patrons how she lies today in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Museum
With over 100 pieces of priceless artifacts and historical treasures that were all recovered from the bottom of the ocean in eight recovery expeditions, they are all part of the one of the most remarkable private collection in the world that includes items like a child’s marble to “Little Big Piece,” the second largest piece of the Titanic’s hull ever reclaimed from its underwater resting place.  Also, there’s original memorabilia from Titanic movies and features a costume worn by Leonardo DiCaprio from James Cameron’s Titanic.
