Now that Christmas is behind us it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to ring in the New Year. And what better place than at one of Orlando’s many theme parks? From fantastic fireworks to dance parties, DJs and so much more, Orlando theme parks are going all out to ensure you have one magical night. Here’s a quick guide to all of the New Year’s Eve fun you can experience this year in Orlando:

Magic Kingdom™ at Walt Disney World® will feature special presentations of the “SpectroMagic” parade and several nighttime fireworks displays. "Holiday Wishes" lights up the sky early in the evening and guests who make it to midnight can see “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks, which begin just before the New Year starts.

At Epcot™ celebrate the New Year with DJs and evening dance parties spread throughout World Showcase and lasting late into the evening, as well as a special presentation of the “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” lights, lasers and fireworks display.

Disney’s® Hollywood Studios™ says farewell to 2011 with multiple presentations of “Fantasmic!” a spectacular of Disney® movies and music. The park will also feature a special “Lights! Camera! Happy New Year!” fireworks spectacular, as well as a DJ dance party around the Sorcerer Hat Stage.

Disney’s® Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 31. Guests can enjoy one of the final presentations of the romping character cavalcade “Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade”.

Both Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure will be open for extended hours on New Year’s Eve- from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. New Year's Eve festivities in both parks include party zones that will feature DJs, character appearances and a fireworks display at midnight. But best of all the New Year’s Eve fun is included with regular park admission.

Universal’s CityWalk will be counting down to the New Year with non-stop dancing and entertainment throughout the nightlife spot. Guests can enjoy live music on the main stage as well as inside participating venues including O'Brien's, the groove, Bob Marley's, Latin Quarter, CityJazz, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and the Red Coconut Club. There will even be an unlimited, gourmet buffet that includes filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, desserts and is included in the event admission price. At the stroke of midnight a champagne toast and confetti burst will bring in the New Year.

SeaWorld Orlando will be throwing their own New Year’s Eve party complete with live music, fireworks, dancing and so much more! Guests can listen to the beats of a live DJ as the countdown to 2012 begins at The Waterfront. At the stroke of midnight, a brilliant fireworks display will light up the Orlando sky for all to enjoy! SeaWorld’s New Year’s Eve festivities are included in daily theme park admission.
