A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

The theme parks at Walt Disney World offer some of the best stage shows in Orlando. Many feature fun segments where children can sing along to songs from their favorite Disney films. Here's our list of the best sing-along shows for kids at Disney World.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
This lively retelling of the new animated classic is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Storytellers from the kingdom of Arendelle tell the story of Frozen on stage in a unique – and often hilarious – way. Throughout the story they stop to let everyone in the audience sing along to many of the hit songs from the film. During the musical numbers the lyrics appear on a big screen so everyone can join in the fun. Anna, Elsa and Kristoff even make appearances throughout the performance. Elsa caps off the show with a live rendition of "Let it Go" while the theater fills up with snow flurries to the delight of everyone in the audience. This show is approximately 30 minutes long and is inside so it's perfect for getting out of the sun in the middle of the day.

 Festival of The Lion King

Festival of The Lion King
This show at Disney's Animal Kingdom is often called the best in Disney World. It features larger-than-life set pieces, animatronics and Broadway-style costumed performers, mixed with a flurry of fun acrobatics, stilt-walkers and even fire juggling. Between theatrical feats like tumble monkeys swinging on the flying trapeze, Timon leads the audience in a silly sing-along of "Hakuna Matata." Scar's "Be Prepared" is sung live on stage, as well as emotional performances of "I Just Can’t Wait To Be King" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." The show is capped off with a moving rendition of "Circle of Life" with dozens of dancers, performers and puppets all united together on stage in a vibrant celebration. Each of the four sections of this theater-in-the-round hall is assigned an animal, and the audience gets to make their animal sounds throughout the performance. It's a lot of fun for kids of all ages!

 Mickeys Royal Friendship Faire

Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire
Join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy for a show filled with merriment performed multiple times daily right in front of the majestic Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom. Mickey has invited his fairytale friends from lands far away for this magical festival. Kids can join in and sing along with their favorite characters from popular films like Rapunzel and Flynn from "Tangled," Tiana and friends from "The Princess and the Frog" and Olaf, Anna and Elsa from "Frozen." The show features colorful costumes, special effects and a dazzling display of daytime fireworks. There are fifteen Disney characters in the show and memorable songs from the films, plus an additional song written just for this show's spectacular ending!

Beauty and the Beast Live

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
This incredible Broadway-style version of the beloved animated classic is performed multiple times a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The stage show actually opened in November of 1991, on the same day the film was released in theaters, and has been delighting guests ever since. It features top-notch singing and well-choreographed dancing in a large outdoor theater under a canopy. The show features all the songs from the film, most of which are performed live by impeccable performers. Everyone in your family will enjoy the humor of the introduction of "Belle" and "Gaston," the romance of "Something There" and "Beauty and the Beast," and the delightful pageantry of "Be Our Guest" in this must-see 25-minute show.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Voyage of The Little Mermaid
This exceptional indoor show at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a unique retelling of the animated classic. High-tech special effects and lighting make you really feel like you're under the sea with Ariel and her friends. Sing along to award-winning songs like Ariel's moving "Part of Your World," Sebastian the crab's upbeat "Under the Sea" and the dark but catchy "Poor Unfortunate Souls," performed by a 12-foot tall Ursula puppet! Special blacklight effects and puppetry create the illusion of dancing fish on stage while lasers and bubbles make you feel like being underwater during this 15-minute presentation.
