5 New Year’s Resolutions to Fulfill at Orlando Theme Parks

Resolve to have fun in Orlando Theme Parks in 2017

We’re just days into the New Year. Have you been sticking to your New Year’s resolutions so far? If you’re struggling, or need inspiration, Best of Orlando has come up with the 5 biggest NYE resolutions and ways you can fulfill them at Orlando theme parks. Ready to have a resolute 2017? Here goes!

1.Lose Weight – There isn’t a bigger New Year’s resolution than losing weight. This year you can make it happen by visiting an Orlando theme park. How? All you have to do is walk the park. It doesn’t matter which Orlando theme park you choose, just pick one and spend the day meandering through all of its many attractions, rides and shows. On average, guests walk anywhere from 5 to 15 miles in a day, especially if you’re visiting a Walt Disney World theme park! That is sure to put you at your weight lose resolution in no time.

2. Quit Smoking – You should quit smoking anyway, but a visit to an Orlando theme park can certainly help. There is no bigger downer than having to stop your Orlando theme park fun just to grab a smoke. Smoking is only permitted in appointed places at most parks, which means you will have to leave your friends and family to go find said place. Bummer. It’s just easier if you quit. You’ll have more fun, we promise.

3. Live Life to the Fullest – A recent Google search told us that one of 2017’s biggest resolutions was to live life to the fullest. We can’t think of a better way to do that than through a visit to an Orlando theme park. This year, several parks will be opening new rides, areas and attractions that will enhance your life. We promise. Universal Orlando Resort will soon be adding an amazing new water park which is the perfect way to live up to this mantra!

4. Travel – Regardless of where you live, visiting an Orlando theme park will make you do at least a little traveling in 2017. If you drive to any of the parks you can easily check off your travel resolutions by making fun stops along the way. Then when you get to Orlando you’ll be able to reap the benefits of your traveling by visiting an Orlando theme park. It’s a win win.

5. Spend More Time with Family – It might feel like we’re beating a dead horse here, but what better way to get in quality time with your family than by screaming through a thrill ride, laughing at a show or marveling at an attraction at one of Orlando’s theme parks? Theme parks are made for families so take advantage of the togetherness and bonding a visit will bring.
