Orlando attractions are typically geared towards family fun. But every once in a while, you may need a little adult time. That’s where Treasure Tavern comes in.  Enjoy a date night on the town at the only place that can offer extravagant amusement and exceptional dining all in one evening!

Voted Best Live Show in 2011 by Orlando Sentinel readers, Treasure Tavern has repeatedly been praised in the media since it’s opening in June 2010, being compared to the Ed Sullivan Show by Orlando Magazine, and being named as a reason for locals to visit the tourism corridor by the Orlando Weekly.

So what is it about Treasure Tavern that’s luring in Orlando locals and visitors in droves? Well, for starters it includes dinner AND a show, which means you can get all of your dining and entertainment needs all in one place. Then there’s the entertainment from around the world with elements of cirque, burlesque, comedy and magic rolled into one for a unique getaway from the everyday.

Your evening begins with Madame Gretta, the new tavern proprietor who takes dinner guests through a two-hour show filled with singing, dancing and plenty of high jinks in this European style variety show. Treasure Tavern guests will run in to such characters as Rob, Grift and Lute a hilarious trio of pick pockets that have taken refuge in the tavern. Then there’s the beautiful “Jewels”, dancing rum girls who are nothing short of delightful but very dangerous and Jinx, a “special” Jewel. And while the Jewels are a staple at Treasure Tavern, other acts are slated to change depending on the season, allowing guests a different experience every time they come.

In addition to these popular characters, dinner show guests will experience a silent magician/mime artist, a contortionist, a quick-change act from Russia and acrobats from Eastern Europe.

Then of course there’s dinner. A four course meal is delivered through extravagant musical numbers to each dinner guest and includes cream of vegetable soup, a garden salad, beef tenderloin served with loaded mashed potato and fresh asparagus and for dessert the Opera Cake, layers of thin almond sponge cake soaked with espresso and filled with ganache and coffee butter cream and a full liquor bar. Other dinner options are available upon request.

It is no wonder Treasure Tavern has been named Orlando’s Hottest Nighttime Show & Dining Experience. With a non-stop evening of comedy, acrobatics, live music and fantastic dining, this incredible dinner show has everything you need for a great night out. And right now until Feb 10th when you book your Treasure Tavern experience through BestofOrlando.com you’ll get a free glass of champagne with each dinner.  Go to the Treasure Tavern page for full details.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
