Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is going “Into the Wild” this Earth Day with special celebrity animal expert Jack Hanna. “Jungle Jack” will be at the Tampa Bay theme park on January 13 for a day of wild animal shows, autograph signings and special meet and greets.

The internationally-known animal expert, whose known for scaring David Letterman when he brings his wild animals onto the late night talk show will share animal facts and his travel tales as well as introduce guests to exotic and endangered animals during special animal shows and exclusive up-close encounters in the Stanleyville Theater on January 13 at 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Admission to Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures is included with regular Busch Gardens’ theme park admission.

In addition to the autograph signings and meet-and-greets, Jack will host a family fun sleepover full of interactive activities and an animal adventure also on Jan. 13 at the park. The Jack Hanna Family Fun Sleepover allows guests the opportunity to spend the night at Busch Gardens in one of their secure on-site venues, then wake up to enjoy a continental breakfast.

The sleep over is geared towards families with children in Grade 3 or higher and is not included in regular theme park admission.

Before the sleepover join Jack for a safari through the nighttime wilds of Africa in Serengeti Night Safari Featuring Jack Hanna. The two-hour experience includes a moonlit look at the nocturnal behaviors of hippos, lions and hyenas. As you drive through the Serengeti Plain, you’ll get the opportunity to use a night-vision monocular and special filtered lighting to view exotic animals. After the expedition, enjoy Hanna’s incredible stories of his real-life African adventures around a roaring campfire.

Prior to the safari adventure, guests can fuel up on tasty treats in the exclusive Safari Club. The Serengeti Night Safari is not included in regular theme park admission.

Jack Hanna is best known as the star of the Emmy Award-winning television series “Jack Hanna’s “Into the Wild,” in which he invites audiences to join him on his expeditions around the globe.
