Now that Universal Orlando has officially announced the opening date for Transformers: The Ride 3D, we’re starting to hear about other Transformer experiences that will be available for guests might be able to enjoy. One particular experience in the rumor mill is the new energy drink, Energon.

Just like everything else Universal Orlando does, the new Transformers: The Ride 3D will completely immerse guests into the world of Autobots and Decepticons and that includes fueling up the same way these powerful machines do.

If you recall from the film series, Energon is the preferred fuel of the Transformer race. Guests at Universal Studios in Hollywood and Singapore have been able to quench their thirsts and “refuel” with the specially created energy drink either before or after taking a ride on Transformers: The Ride 3D. It has been described as a creamy orange soda and comes in a special Energon glass with a light-up cube.

No word yet on whether Universal Studios’ Energon will come to Orlando, let alone look and taste like Universal Studios Hollywood’s.

Guests can also become a part of the Transformers story by stocking up on supplies at the Supply Vault gift shop. Items include all things Transformers including clothing, bags, souvenir cups and coffee mugs, masks, toys, action figures, and even cells from the series. Rumor has it that Supply Vault is only currently supplying 40 – 50% of its max merchandise and once the ride officially opens it will offer 100% of supplies.

The Supply Vault’s full merchandise line and the ride itself, Transformers fans can still interact with a few of the famous Transformers at special meet-and-greets outside of Supply Vault. Currently the Autobots leader Optimus Prime, his silent partner Bumblebee and even the evil Decepticon lord Megatron have been available for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities. You can even talk to these Transformers about the battle that’s coming to the park on June 20.

Stay tuned for more details on Energon and if it will quench thirsts in the park. In the meantime you can see all of the construction for Transformers: The Ride 3D and the Transformers themselves outside of Supply Vault with discounted Universal Orlando tickets right here on Best of Orlando.
