In addition to the retail shops, Disney Springs also announced new restaurants including Edison, an “Industrial Gothic”-style restaurant, bar and nighttime destination; Sprinkles, the world’s first cupcake bakery; Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, a modern day “pizza joint”; Vivoli Gelateria, serving up handcrafted gelato; and Tea Traders Cade by Joffrey’s, a tea shop specializing in loose-leaf teas.

Most recent restaurant additions include The Boathouse, a waterfront restaurant. Morimoto Asia and STK Orlando are scheduled to open this fall.

“Over the past few months we have opened several new dining and retail locations, which have quickly become the top producers in their chains,” said George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort in a statement. “This type of momentum builds on the historical strength of the Downtown Disney area and its popularity with our guests from around the world as it evolves into Disney Springs,” he said.

Disney Springs is expected to be complete next year. Stay tuned for more details.
