“Frozen”-themed gingerbread houses and many more are on display at Walt Disney World Resorts.

The holidays are officially underway at Walt Disney World, which means bright twinkling lights, joyful holiday shows, festive decorations and plenty of sweet treats to make your holiday merry and bright. And speaking of sweet treats, Walt Disney World Resorts will be a little sweeter this year thanks to their annual gingerbread houses. If you’ve never been to a Disney Resort during the holidays here’s who’s cooking up a gingerbread house this season:

Disney’s Contemporary Resort – New to this year’s gingerbread house lineup is the Gingerbread Holiday Ice Castle at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Inspired by Disney’s “Frozen,” this year’s gingerbread house is 17-feet-tall and decorated with favorite characters from the popular film including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven as well as 1,500 gingerbread shingles, snowflakes and chocolate-covered trees. “Frozen”-themed merchandise, desserts, and gingerbread treats are also available at the ice castle kiosk. The “Frozen” gingerbread house is located on the 4th floor of the Disney resort.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort – Beginning November 23, Grand Floridian Resort will impress guests with a gingerbread house that churns out baked goods. Festive treats for sale will include cookies, shingles, ornaments and houses – all made from gingerbread. The unique 80 square feet house is 16 feet high by 17 feet wide and made with 1,000 board feet of trim, 60 sheets of plywood, 40 window panes, 100 square feet of display and 10,000 pieces of gingerbread!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn – In the lobby of the BoardWalk Inn, there is a Sweet Treats gingerbread display that is reminiscent of a Jersey Shore concession stand! This gingerbread house is super fun and fits in perfectly with the resort’s theme.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort – On November 25, Beach Club will welcome back their life-size gingerbread carousel, which will be situated in the lobby. This massive house took 6 lbs. of honey, 96 lbs. of bread flour, 100 pints of eggs, 10 lbs. of spices, 10 quarts of simple syrup, 100 lbs. of icing, 50 lbs. of dark chocolate, 10 quarts of egg whites, and 100 lbs. of confectioner sugar! Aside from marveling at the creation, guests will be able to take home small gingerbread kits and watch demonstrations by pastry chefs. While you take in the impressive carousel see if you can find the seven hidden Mickeys!

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – The Yacht Club will feature a New England-style train display. This train will chug its way around a candy village and through a rock mountain made of sugar!
