Strollers at Orlando Theme Parks

When you have babies or young toddlers there is definitely a place for strollers in Orlando theme parks. But as children get bigger, the hassle of lugging around a stroller just in case your child might want to sit in it can be daunting.  Still, you might want that stroller with you to hold some of your things as well as to let the child rest when they are tired. So what’s a parent to do? Two words: Umbrella Stroller.

Not nearly as big as something like the BOB, Uppababy, Chicco or Graco systems or even the ones you can rent at Walt Disney World, umbrella strollers are compact, easy to fold up and store and just the right size for a toddler to rest or take a quick nap in. Plus, when you have to park it at a ride or show, you won’t mind if it does get lost because they are relatively cheap unlike most other strollers.

If you know your toddler or child will be so enamored with the rides and shows at Disney, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa or any other theme park you visit and he or she won’t want to sit down even for a minute, you just might be past the stroller stage, even an umbrella stroller. But if you have a toddler who will spend a majority of the time walking with you but may still need to rest, and or doesn’t like navigating through the crowds, an umbrella stroller is your best bet.

With all of that being said, having a stroller on hand, even if your child won’t sit in it is still very useful. As I mentioned above, your child may not normally want to sit in a stroller, but if the park is packed, you just might find them climbing inside to get from ride to ride. A stroller may also be the key to giving your child enough energy to last the entire day. There is also ample stroller parking throughout theme parks. You certainly won’t be the only parents pushing one or trying to find parking for it. And lastly, if it has a basket on the bottom or compartments, a stroller is a great way to hold your belongings, without having to rent a locker or bring in a bag.
