Halloween Horror Nights 27 Adds The Shining To Scary Lineup

Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece The Shining added to Halloween Horror Nights 27

Universal Orlando is stepping up its horror game this Halloween when it invites guests inside the eerie Overlook Hotel in the all-new haunted house “The Shining.” Based off Stanley Kubrick’s interpretation of “The Shining,” by Stephen King, this maze is sure to be one Halloween Horror Nights’ creepiest yet.

The warped psychological thriller will come to life in a way that you always feared it would. Guests will be given a unique opportunity to relive some of the film’s most sinister moments by thrusting guests inside the Overlook Hotel’s tragic and murderous past. As you walk you will come face-to-face with the murderous, ghostly entities of the hotel, all while trying to escape the wrath of Jack Torrance as he succumbs to the hotel’s paranormal forces.

As if that isn’t haunting enough, Universal is taking you into all of the places from the film you should never go, like room 237. You’ll finally be able to see what happened in there and we can almost guarantee you’ll wish you never did.

Universal said their goal was to constantly have guests doing a double take and it sounds like they have achieved that goal.

Stay tuned for more details on “The Shining” haunted house at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. The annual scare fest will run September 15 through November 4.
