Disney’s Jungle Cruise has transformed into Jingle Cruise Photo by Krystal Leal

There is nothing like being home for the holidays, and this holiday season the skippers of Jungle Cruise are homesick! Unable to go home because of their year round work, they have turned the Jungle Cruise into Jingle Cruise at Disney’s Magic Kingdom with festive decor throughout the queue and ride.

From the moment you step inside the queue you will get into the holiday spirit as the skippers have decked out the area with homemade decorations, gifts and items from back home. The festive fun doesn’t stop there either. The skippers have affectionately renamed each boat with a holiday name for the season.  And the Jingle Cruise wouldn’t be complete without a few jokes from the always funny skippers. This time of year their comedy has a holiday twist.

The ride itself also has some new holiday offerings like added holiday decorations to its already existing props. The plane that crashed is now trailed with dumped out holiday decorations and encampments have also decorated for the season. Be on the lookout for residents of the jungle who are waiting on their own holiday gifts.

New to this year’s Jingle Cruise is the restaurant the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. After your travels on the Asian, African and South American rivers you can enjoy a festive meal at the jungle-themed restaurant. Dishes from the areas you just traveled are available.
