Balloons and floats from Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade can be seen in Macy’s Holiday Parade.

Thanksgiving may be over but you can still see all of the floats from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade at Universal Orlando. The Macy’s Holiday Parade brings the legendary New York City parade to life throughout the holidays with the actual floats and balloons from the processional!

Get into the spirit of the season during Macy’s Holiday Parade at Universal Studios Florida.

Every night beginning December 3 through December 18 at 5:00 p.m. and December 19 through January 1 at 8:00 p.m., guests can marvel at the gorgeous floats and balloons as they travel down the streets of Universal Studios. In addition, marching bands, clowns and Santa himself entertain the masses.

While many of Macy’s balloons can’t sail through the narrower streets of Universal Studios, several of the smaller ones are used. Also, some of the classic king-sized inflatables like Garfield and Grover can be seen on stationary display throughout the park. One of the most popular floats at the Macy’s Holiday Parade is the Happy Purple Hippo, a throwback to the 1940s that was recreated by Macy’s Parade Design team.

After the parade, continue the holiday fun with the spectacular tree lighting ceremony with music and a stunning display of lights.
