On June 21, otherwise known as “National Selfie Day,” Orlando locals and visitors were given the chance to meet and snap a selfie with pop superstar Justin Bieber, the newest addition to Madame Tussauds Orlando.
Bieber is a hit machine, best known for chart-toppers like “What Do You Mean?” “Love Yourself” and “Sorry.” He has also had big success with “featuring” roles – he’s part of “Despacito” (by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee) and “I’m the One” by DJ Khaled.
“Justin Bieber has consistently been one of the most requested celebrity figures in the two years we have been open,” said James Paulding, general manager of Madame Tussauds Orlando in a statement.
Dressed up in his signature style, in a white T-shirt under an open yellow plaid shirt and ripped jeans, the lifelike figure even has tattoos replicated on his arms.
The figure took artists six months to create, including the sculpting of his clay head, the insertion of thousands of individual hairs and the reproduction of Bieber’s many tattoos. Bieber will join fellow pop superstars Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. As always, you can find discounted tickets to Madame Tussauds here on Best of Orlando.
