It’s NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious motorsports event of the year, and it’s speeding into the Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, Feb. 24. “The Great American Race,” otherwise known as the Daytona 500 will pit forty-three of the top drivers in the world against each other for 200 laps and 500 miles. And that’s just part of the racing excitement you’ll experience with a Daytona 500 Sprint FANZONE ticket.

It all starts bright and early on Sunday, Feb. 24 when the Sprint FANZONE and garages open at 7 a.m. Here fans will be able to enjoy all of the behind the scenes action and excitement leading up to the race like watching each car go through inspection; NASCAR drivers readying for the big race from the best vantage point in the entire Speedway, the Sprint FanDeck; be a part of an exclusive Q&A and autograph session with the drivers and other personalities; get access to the tri-oval grass along pit road and during pre-race ceremonies where you can leave your mark on the start/finish line of the race with your John Hancock; take a guided group tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage; enjoy live entertainment on the Sprint FANZONE Main Stage; and even watch as your favorite drivers walk across the pre-race stage or down the cat walk right before the green flag is waved.

Once you’ve had a while to roam around the Sprint FANZONE, make sure you’re at the Sprint FANZONE Main Stage by 8:40 for a special appearance by Coca-Cola Racing Family Driver Jeff Burton. Then from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. enjoy other driver appearances by Casey Mears, driver of the #13 GEICO Ford Fusion, NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Juan Pablo Montoya, Daytona 500 Champion Ryan Newman and even Miss Sprint Cup.

After catching a glimpse of your favorite NASCAR driver, you can enjoy the Daytona 500 trophy procession from Sprint FANZONE to Pit Road at 11:20, Daytona 500 driver instructions at 12:15 and a pre-race show featuring Zac Brown Band at 12:20. And that’s all before the Daytona 500 even starts!

At 1 p.m. the top NASCAR drivers in the world will lineup at the start line and race around the Daytona International Speedway for 200 laps, totaling 500 miles for the winning cup in the Daytona 500. And after experiencing all of the behind-the-scenes car check-ups, NASCAR driver appearances and the Zac Brown Band, you’ll be more then ready for the excitement of “The Great American Race.”
