NASCAR Race Week Speeds Into Daytona International Speedway

Daytona International Speedway will heat up this race week

It’s February, which means it’s the return of racing season in Daytona. For nine days, motorsports fans will be able to watch seven races from four different racing series, all capping with “The Great American Race,” the Daytona 500 on February 26. Let’s take a look at each race:

Lucas Oil Complete Engine Treatment 200 - On Saturday, February 18, get ready for a doubleheader with action from ARCA Racing Series & NASCAR during the Lucas Oil Complete Engine Treatment 200.

Catch NASCAR superstars at the Daytona International Speedway

Daytona 500 Qualifying by Kroger - The following day, on Sunday, February 19, drivers will compete to qualify for the Daytona 500. Every second counts in this group qualifying format. Winners will take the front row for the Daytona 500.

Can-Am Duel - Once the Daytona 500 front row is set, drivers in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will go head-to-head for the rest of the starting grid in the Can-Am Duel. The 150-mile qualifying race is an excellent predictor of the Daytona 500.

NextEra Energy Resources 250 - Things will switch up a little with the NextEra Energy Resources 250. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes over the Speedway for a thrilling 100-lap race. It is one of the most exciting races at Daytona International Speedway.

PowerShares QQQ 300 - The day before the Daytona 500, young drivers will do their best to make a name for themselves as they meet seasoned drivers in this NASCAR XFINITY Series season opener PowerShares QQQ 300.

Daytona 500 - On Sunday, February 26, the Daytona 500 returns for its 59th edition with a pre-concert that includes Lady Antebellum. Then the engines fire for this classic and historic race that is a NASCAR fan’s dream!
