Shigeru Miyamoto visited Universal Orlando

Every gamers dream is about to come true when Universal Orlando creates a land based on your favorite video game. According to Universal Creative Mark Woodbury, and Nintendo’s Shigeru Minamoto, the new themed Nintendo Land will put guests into the console for an adventure you’ve only dreamed of.

The Nintendo Lands will be coming to Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood within the next few years. No details have been released about when we can expect the new lands, or even what to expect, but hopefully we will know more soon.

What we do know is that the lands will be filled with iconic Nintendo excitement, gameplay, heroes and villains. The area will be expansive, immersive and interactive and will most definitely feature the popular Nintendo character Mario. Also, Japan might be the first one to get the land due in part to the Summer Olympics being held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020.

Stay tuned for more details on the new Nintendo Land coming to Universal Orlando. In the meantime don’t miss the holiday festivities at the park with discounted tickets right here on Best of Orlando.
