Rey joins the lineup in ‘Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away’

Disney’s Hollywood Studios continues to bring guests all things Star Wars this summer. The newest Star Wars offering gives fans the opportunity to see Rey, star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in the revamped A Galaxy Far, Far Away show.

This isn’t the first time Rey appeared in the galactic production. This past April, the character performed in the live stage show, but now she has become a permanent part of the production’s character lineup joining other popular Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Darth Maul, Stormtroopers, Captain Phasma, C-3PO and R2-D2. Also on stage with Rey is the Resistance droid BB-8 and a new sequence incorporating moments from 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away brings together three eras of storytelling, from Darth Vader to Captain Phasma and everything in between. Mixed with the live show are clips from the films, highlighting popular moments in conjunction with the live performers.

The revamped show is accompanied by an updated Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, the nighttime show that uses projections, lasers and fireworks for an out-of-this-world production that lights up the Orlando sky.

Rey will be seen on-screen again when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters this December.

You can see Rey and the rest of the Star Wars characters in Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away several times a day on the Center Stage of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Look for discounted tickets to the park right here on Best of Orlando.
