It’s not summer time until you’ve spent a night watching killer whales show off their best moves, sea lions perform a hilarious routine, sea turtles come to life in a 3D movie and fireworks light up the Orlando night sky. And you can see all of this and more at SeaWorld Orlando’s annual nighttime extravaganza - Summer Nights. Beginning Monday, June 25 guests to SeaWorld Orlando can enjoy all of the attractions, coasters and animals the aquatic park has to offer by day and then stick around at night for a completely different set of shows, thrills, and experiences. Here’s what you can expect at SeaWorld Orlando’s Summer Nights 2012: TurtleTrek – New to this year’s event and to the park’s entertainment lineup, TurtleTrek brings guests on an underwater journey where sea turtles and other aquatic wildlife come to life in a way we’ve never experienced before – in a first of its kind 3D, 360-degree dome theater film. The new experience completely surrounds and immerses guests and offers an up-close-and-personal encounter with sea turtles and manatees. Shamu Rocks – If you thought the killer whale show One Ocean was a sight to see, wait until you see Shamu and friends perform their spectacular tricks at night in the energetic nighttime show Shamu Rocks. Filled with a stunning light show, water fountain display and music from the biggest names in the industry today, not to mention the majestic killer whales themselves, Shamu Rocks is a fun-filled show that’ll have you rockin’ all night long. Sea Lions Tonite - Who knew sea life could be so hilarious? Summer Night’s comedy show, Sea Lions Tonite brings together the park’s popular sea lion comedic duo and the rest of their funny gang including otters and walrus’ as they riff on life at the park, parodying other loveable daytime SeaWorld shows and attractions. You’ll be in hysterics as you see what great lengths these talented creatures do to make fun of each other. Reflections – End your Summer Nights with the stunning fireworks and fountains display, Reflections. Watch as dazzling fountains and incredible fireworks, set to a soundtrack that highlights the inspirational music of SeaWorld’s most popular shows, including segments from the new TurtleTrek explode into the sky and the waters above the Waterfront Village. Guests can view the impressive display either from the Waterfront Village or in Bayside Stadium. And just like during the day, SeaWorld Orlando’s Summer Nights will let you experience your favorite ride or roller coaster in a way you never have before, by moonlight! SeaWorld’s Summer Nights run nightly starting June 23 through August 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is included in regular theme park admission.
