The all new Sea Rescue rides will bring the thrills and fun to SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando recently announced plans to create rides based on the popular Saturday morning TV show “Sea Rescue.” The news came along with other plans for the park including new Christmas shows.

On Monday, President and Chief Executive Officer Joel Manby shared with investors and analysts details about the new rides saying that a SeaWorld Rescue-themed roller coaster will soon be coming to the park. In addition to the coaster, Manby added that holiday shows and experiences featuring characters from the Christmas classic, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” would also be coming to the park.

SeaWorld Orlando Sea Rescue rides will highlight rescued animals

Sea Rescue is an Emmy-nominated TV show aimed at kids that highlights animal rescue efforts made by SeaWorld Rescue Teams and partner organizations.

SeaWorld Orlando will open all new Sea Rescue inspired rides and attractions

No word yet on when the attractions will open but some concept art was shared. One picture shows guests careening down a coaster track in what appears to be sea doo’s. Another show a SeaWorld Rescue truck taking guests on an underwater tour through an underwater tunnel.

Stay tuned for more details about the “Sea Rescue” attractions coming to SeaWorld Orlando. In the meantime you can check out SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration beginning this November 21. The Orlando theme park will pour waves of holiday spirit upon guests with stunning live shows like Elmo’s Christmas Wish, O Wondrous Night, and Shamu Christmas Miracles.

There will also be visits from Santa Claus, carolers filling the park with holiday tunes and a sparkling Sea of Trees that light up the waters and ice skaters performing gorgeous routines. SeaWorld Christmas Celebration runs Friday, Saturday and Sundays through December 31.
