Florida's biggest party is back! Universal Orlando's Mardi Gras introduces the spirit of The Big Easy to Orlando with live concerts, Cajun cuisine, the nightly Mardi Gras parade and more. This year's event will be the longest ever, running from February 3 through April 7. Best of all? It’s all included with your general park admission.
On 13 select nights, catch some of your favorite bands and musicians performing live at the Music Plaza Stage inside Universal Studios Florida. Some of the chart-toppers taking the stage include Grammy Award-winning rapper Macklemore, international superstar and recording artist Sean Paul and the award-winning Fifth Harmony.
The glittering Mardi Gras parade keeps the good times rolling every night at Universal Studios Florida. This family-friendly parade features dazzling floats, colorful dancers, stilt walkers and many (many!) beads to catch. This year, six brand-new floats, themed to constellations like Virgo, Taurus and Orion, will complete a lineup of 12 hand-crafted floats. The new floats were engineered by Kern Studios, designer of original New Orleans Mardi Gras floats for more than 50 years.
Of course it wouldn't be Mardi Gras without the tastes of N'awlins! Head over to the French Quarter Courtyard for some of the best New Orleans food this side of Bourbon Street. Sink your teeth into shrimp po’boys, jambalaya, beignets and more while listening to brass bands straight from the bayou. Plus, the entire event is a photo op: Snap photos with the colorful characters and talented stilt walkers roaming the courtyard.
Mardi Gras is included with admission to Universal Studios Florida. The event begins February 3 and runs through April 7. The nightly parade, live brass bands, N'awlins food and roaming entertainers of the French Quarter Courtyard happen every day of the event. Headliner concerts are only on select weekend nights.
