The Polite Pig is now open at Disney Springs 
 
Disney Springs’ newest restaurant, The Polite Pig is now open in the Town Center. The fast-casual dining experience is spicing up the BBQ scene with tasty new dishes and a slew of drinks and cocktails, making it a perfect stop for dinner after a day at Walt Disney World!

The Polite Pig is the newest concept from Orlando chefs James and Julie Petrakis, who also own the Ravenous Pig and Swine & Sons in Winter Park and Cask & Larder at the Orlando International Airport.  The couple collaborated with James’ brother Brian to create the new BBQ concept, which serves up true Southern comfort dishes like mac and cheese, smoked corn and tomato, and watermelon salad to go with roasted, smoked or braised meat.   

Signature dishes include Peel & Eat Shrimp with bourbon cocktail sauce; Salmon BLT with bacon jam, marinated tomato, romaine and aioli; house-smoked chicken, brisket, pork shoulder, wild salmon and St. Louis ribs; and BBQ Cauliflower with yogurt and pepitas.  

You can add flavor to any of The Polite Pig’s dishes at the BBQ bar, which features seven different sauces.  

Cask & Larder supplies the restaurant with its signature beers including the Lone Palm Golden Ale, 5 Points IPA, Red Drum Ale and Working Man Porter. On tap cocktails include gin & tonic, vodka lemonade, rum & coke, tequila & grapefruit and olde fashioned.   

The “Bourbon Bar” offers 60-plus varieties of whiskey.   

The Polite Pig is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
