Walt Disney World Adds Mobile Order Feature to 15 Locations

Mobile Order at Walt Disney World

You’ll never go hungry at Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks to the new Mobile Order capabilities in the My Disney Experience app, guests can now order food before arriving at 15 locations across the resort.

The new service saves you time when ordering meals at quick service restaurants by allowing you to order on demand, pay in advance and skip the line. Now you will have more time exploring the many experiences and attractions at Walt Disney World.

To use the new Mobile Order simply sign in to the My Disney Experience app and tap the “Order Food” button, which lists restaurants that offer the service. From there you can browse restaurants, select items, customize your order and even prepay. When you arrive at the restaurant, tap “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” in the app and the kitchen will begin your meal. When it is ready, a notification will be sent to your phone and you will be able to pick up your food from the “Mobile Order Pick Up” area.

Currently the only form of payment accepted through Mobile Order is credit card, but Disney is working on additional payment options. Anyone with a dining discount such as Annual Passholders and DVC Members, must still order through a cashier to get their discount. Additionally, those with allergies must also order through a cashier.

Here are the 15 restaurants that currently offer Mobile Order:

Magic Kingdom:
Columbia Harbour House
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Picos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
