There is only one week left to get your fill of pumpkin patches, haunted houses and trick-or-treating before we switch over to turkeys, trees and presents! And if you thought October was a busy month wait until you hear what Orlando theme parks have in store for November as they head full speed into the holiday season. Here’s what to expect in Orlando this November:
November kicks off with a new nighttime projection show, ‘Celebrate the Magic’ at Magic Kingdom ® at Walt Disney World ®. The show will incorporate favorite elements from the current show, “The Magic, The Memories and You” with all-new music, storytelling and special effects.
Magic Kingdom ® will also be celebrating the magic of the season with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The annual event, which begins Nov. 9 and runs select nights in November and December puts guests in the holiday spirit with plenty of festive entertainment including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks display, character meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the park, live entertainment with Disney ® characters and even snow on Main Street U.S.A.! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs 7 p.m. to midnight and is a separate ticket than regular theme park admission.
November is also the final month of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Guests have until Nov. 12 to take a culinary adventure around the world and get their fill of tasty tapas and refreshing beverages from nearly 30 International food and beverage Marketplaces. Plus, you can learn how to make some of the dishes and drinks you taste during cooking demonstrations, mixology seminars and wine/beverage seminars. And to pair with the incredible food and drinks is the nightly Eat to the Beat concert series by some of the biggest names in the music industry.
SeaWorld Orlando will also be getting a jump start on the Christmas festivities with their annual Wintery Wonderland event beginning Nov. 17. Guests can enjoy waves of holiday spirit as carolers fill the air, a sparkling Sea of Trees light up the water, skaters dance on ice, The Polar Express during a trip to the North Pole and plenty of stunning lives shows and entertainment made especially for the holiday celebration.
Over at LEGOLAND Florida guests can travel to a galaxy far, far away this November with the new Star Wars Miniland Cluster. The new Star Wars Cluster will follow the chronological path through the Star Wars timeline and feature 1.5 million LEGO bricks creating scenes and characters from the movie series as well as the animated TV series “The Clone Wars.” The new area will feature more than 2,000 LEGO models, some more than six-feet-tall with interactive buttons letting children activate movement throughout the scenes. Star Wars Miniland is scheduled to open November 9.
Stay tuned for more details on all of these November events.
