Description
There are many reasons why any guest visiting the Walt Disney World ® Resort would choose to stay at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort – with an economical price, a prime location near many attractions, convenient on-site facilities, and comfortable guest rooms, this resort truly is the total family-friendly package!
Like the other Value Resorts on property, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort’s 1,604 rooms are divided up into five pairs of three-story buildings, each with their own theme that pays homage to a certain music genre – Broadway, Calypso, Country Fair, Jazz Inn and Rock Inn. The property is adorned with large music genre icons, such as a giant pair of cowboy boots, giant colorful guitars, and streaming sheets of music along the surrounding balconies. The colorful themeing of this resort and all of the other Value Resorts, are what have made these hotels so popular with families since their opening in November of 1994.
While the exterior of Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort features large novelty items, the inside of the guest rooms feature comfort and coziness for your vacation stay. Each room features two plush double beds, a table with two chairs, a TV, an in-room safe, and a bathroom with a separate vanity area. The music motif from the outside is also extended inward, with the bright colored walls, musical artwork on the walls, and vibrantly patterned bedspreads. In addition to the regular guest bedrooms, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is the only Value resort to also feature 215 family suites. These special 520-square-feet rooms sleep up to six and are a more conventional home-away-from-home option, with a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, two full bathrooms, a main bedroom with a queen bed, and a spacious living area which offers a double sleeper sofa, a convertible twin ottoman, and a convertible twin chair sleeper.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort may be a Value Resort, but it is never lacking in its amenities, which include free self-parking, on-site laundry facilities, child care services, two heated pools, and Melody Hall, which is home to the arcade, merchandise shop, concierge desk and the ever-popular Intermission food-court (offering classic American fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Plus, the Singing Spirits open-air bar (by the Calypso Pool) gives your family even more food and drink options. With all of these amenities, prime location and an affordable price, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will have your family “singing” its praises during your entire vacation!
