Aloha! and welcome to Disney’s Polynesian Resort! As one of the eight deluxe resorts, Disney’s Polynesian Resort offers the comforts of home in a fun and vibrant tropical atmosphere. From the second you step foot on the property you will feel as if you have been whisked away to the calming islands of the South Pacific. This tropical paradise encompasses the true spirit and essence of the South Pacific, with its lush flora, streaming waterfalls, white sand beaches, and traditional longhouse accommodations.
Nestled along the coast of the Seven Seas Lagoon, directly across from Magic Kingdom ® Park, the Polynesian Resort offers both convenience, in its location, and the luxury of its accommodations. The property is set up as a traditional Polynesian village would be, with the Great Ceremonial House and lobby at its center surrounded by eleven two-to-three story longhouse buildings. Serving as the lobby and main building for the property, the Great Ceremonial House immediately immerses you in the feel of the resort. Filled with volcanic rocks, coconut palm trees, banana leaves, cultural artwork, stone flooring, and warm colors of oranges, reds, and creams; the Ceremonial House really sets the tone for the rest of the surrounding property. In the Ceremonial House you will also find three world-class dining options and numerous shopping areas.
Stemming out from the Great Ceremonial House are the longhouse accommodations. With over 847 Polynesian themed luxury rooms, the Polynesian offers you comfortable accommodations in a fun atmosphere. Each room is decorated in rich tropical colors and features wicker & bamboo furnishings. The cultural artwork and patterned bedspreads will immerse you in the culture of the South Seas. Each bed is adorned with 250-thread count sheets, pillowtop mattresses, and plump pillows. Each room includes a spacious marble bathroom with coral colored flooring and vanity areas. The majority of rooms offer gorgeous views of the surrounding property, beaches, gardens, or, even the Magic Kingdom ® Park. Other comforts of home that are offered include 32-inch flat screen TVs, in room air conditioning, ceiling fans, in-room safes, and more.
Looking to catch some South Seas rays? Head out to the Nanea Volcano Pool or the white sand beaches of the Seven Seas Lagoon. The Polynesian Resort pool is in a league of its own.
