Characters from Star Wars Rogue One are now in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As we gear up for the opening of the Star Wars-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the park is announcing some exciting Star Wars activities and entertainment we can expect to see before the area opens. Let’s take a closer look at what intergalactic fun is happening at Walt Disney World:

“Star Wars Ultimate Tour” – In January, Disney is introducing the “ultimate guided tour,” which will be an immersive full-day experience for fans of the franchise. The seven-hour walking tour will include a Star Wars all-in-the-know tour guide to answer questions, priority boarding for Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, the chance to meet two Star Wars characters at the Star Wars Launch Bay, an in-depth, insider’s tour around Star Wars Launch Bay, screening of the Star Wars: Path of the Jedi film, a quick service dinner at Backlot Express, admission to the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party and a reserved spot for guests 4-12 in the interactive Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple show.

2017 will mark the return of Star Wars a Galactic Spectacular

Star Wars a Galactic Spectacular – Disney’s Hollywood Studios announced it will be bringing back Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular a bit earlier than expected. While the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! holiday show still running at the park into January, the Star Wars Spectacular is also getting in some air time. The Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is now showing at 6:15 p.m. most nights.

Rogue One Characters Added to Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away – Guests can now see new characters from the latest Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The new characters are the Advanced Weapons Research (AWR) Troopers who serve the empire with specialized advanced weapons and black armor.

New sequences will be added to Star Tours: The Adventure Continues

New Sequences Return to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue – This month, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue has added back randomized flights to the ride. Instead of each ride experience launching from the planet of Jakku, the attraction is randomized from start to finish. This means classic locations like Kashyyyk, and Hoth are back in rotation.

Stay tuned for more details on the Star Wars additions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
