In 2019, Gatorland will celebrate its 70th anniversary, and you’re invited to join the festivities right now! Come check out the Alligator Capital of the World’s many alligators as well as other animals like crocodiles, Florida panthers, Florida bobcats, and the extremely rare white leucitic alligators. ZooTampa at Lowry Park
Enjoy Christmas in the wild at ZooTampa at Lowry Park. On select nights in December, the Zoo will transform into a world of holiday cheer. The event includes stunning lights, seasonal treats and refreshments, and animals of course! Enjoy the wild of Christmas at night with animal mingles and enrichment.
Sea Life Orlando
Spend the holidays under water at Sea Life Orlando. December 1-31, the aquarium invites you to “deck the seas” and experience an underwater winter wonderland with festive decor, Santa Claus and his elves, a special story time reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas” and more. You can even see if you’ve been naughty or nice during dive talks in the Indian Ocean Habitat.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Now through January 6, have a splashingly great holiday celebration with the marine life at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Step inside Winter’s Wonderland and enjoy lights and decorations throughout the aquarium, holiday-themed habitats, and Santa and his elves as they dive underwater in Mavis’s Rescue Hideaway.
Skeletons: Museum of Osteology
Animal lovers can take their interest of animals one step further by checking out the bones of their favorites at Skeletons: Museum of Osteology. Through December enjoy free cookies, hot chocolate and snow fall among the 500 real skeletons. You’ll also learn “cool” adaptations that allow animals to survive in cold environments. Then on Saturday, Dec. 15 take a walk through Winter Walk with fun decorations, coloring and crafting stations, “skulls, furs and more” touch tables, winter animals scavenger hunt and more.
