In celebration of the newest Avatar film, “Avatar: The Way of the Water,” Walt Disney World is further immersing guests into the world of Pandora with new experiences, food and drink, merchandise and more. If you’re a fan of Avatar make sure you head to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to experience the latest fun.
Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is an amazing sight to see in broad daylight so you can imagine our surprise when the Orlando theme park welcomed an all-new nighttime experience in honor of the latest movie. Every evening the Tree of Life awakens with a new story sequence inspired by Pandora – The World of Avatar and the newest film, “Avatar: The Way of Water.” Each story illuminates the park’s iconic tree with the magic of nature.
In addition to the all-new experience, foodies can eat their way through Pandora with new items inspired by “Avatar: The Way of Water” at Satu’li Canteen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Indulge in the Metkayina Mousse, a flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and decorated with raspberry gelee, mango coulis, boba pearls and a milk and white chocolate garnish. For a main dish try the Ocean Moon Bowl made with tuna, blue noodles, watermelon radish, pickled daikon, rainbow carrots, avocado, cucumbers and red cabbage with a miso and sweet soy drizzle. Wash it all down with the Ilu Splash Margarita with kiwi Monin syrup with lime juice, sour mix, Corazon Tequila Blanco, and a floating slice of Kiwi.
You can cap off your Pandora visit with some brand-new merchandise themed around Disney’s newest film. Located throughout Walt Disney World, merchandise includes such items as Avatar: The Way of Water Spirit Jersey for Adults and the “Avatar: The Way of Water” Adult Graphic T-Shirt with allover prints inspired by the film among many others.
