Holiday cheer is found all over the Walt Disney World resort this time of year, and Disney Springs is no exception! Guests planning to visit Disney’s shopping and dining district are in for a few Christmas activities that are something special. From a fun, festive game to a chance to meet Santa, you won’t want to miss these three festive ways to celebrate the season at Disney Springs.
Christmas Tree Trail
Walt Disney World resort boasts over 1500 Christmas trees around their property during the holiday season, and 27 very special trees can be found at the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. Starting near the Once Upon A Toy shop, guests can travel through a forest of festive firs themed to different Disney movies, characters and theme parks. Watch the “snow” fall over the trees and even get your picture taken near your favorite one, thanks to PhotoPass photographers! The Christmas Tree Trail is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. until Jan. 6, 2019.
Santa Claus is coming to Springs! Looking to get some face time with Kris Kringle before Christmas? Guests can meet Santa near the Christmas Tree Trail daily from Nov. 8, 2018-Dec. 24, 2018 starting at 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Setting up your meetup with Santa is easy! Start by checking in at the podium and giving your mobile number to be contacted. Then enjoy the shopping and dining offered around Disney Springs until you receive a text message from Santa’s helpers. Head back to the podium within 10 minutes of receiving your text and get in line to meet Old St. Nick! PhotoPass photographers will be capturing every memorable moment with Santa, so don’t forget to invest in Memory Maker before your trip.
Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt
Who doesn’t love a good holiday scavenger hunt? Stitch has misplaced his holiday shopping list and needs our help to grab all of his gifts before Christmas! So grab your Holiday Gift Hunt booklet and visit all 12 Holiday Gift Hunt Stops to complete the game. At each stop, keep an eye out for Stitch holding up his present and match that gift to the corresponding location! Once you’ve completed the whole hunt, head to one of six prize redemption centers to enjoy a holiday surprise. This game is the perfect way to explore Disney Springs in a fun, new way. Guests can participate in this scavenger hunt daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. until Jan. 6, 2019.
As we enter one of the busiest park seasons of the year, it’s good to know there’s a few Holiday experiences nearby at Disney Springs!
