Walt Disney World is so much more than a theme park. It’s where your favorite Disney movies come to life right in front of you! Whether you experience this through a character meet and greet or a fun Disney attraction, you can’t beat the magic of seeing those characters on screen come to life in front of you.

While normal meet and greet experiences are certainly magical, wait times can add up and cut into your play time in the parks. Character Dining experiences are a great way to get that one-on-one time with a few of your favorite characters while enjoying a meal is a relaxed and fun dining setting. Curious which Character Dining experience should be at the top of your list? Here are five of our favorite character dining experiences at Walt Disney World resort.

Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is home to one of the most popular character dining experiences at Walt Disney World. The Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno features Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric. If The Little Mermaid and Tangled are favorite movies in your household, this breakfast experience is for you! The menu features themed entrees like a Tower of Pancakes featuring the Tangled Corona Sun or fun waffles featuring our favorite fish Flounder. The four members of Disney royalty make their way to each table spending special moments and snapping pictures of course! This breakfast experience is located at a resort with ferry access to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot parks, which makes it a perfect morning meal for a day at either park.

Cinderella’s Royal Table
There’s truly no other way to feel the royal treatment than dining inside Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. Cinderella has opened up her castle to us with a gorgeous dining area, complete with beautiful Fantasyland views. Your experience starts by meeting Cinderella with a PhotoPass photographer on the first floor. After your pictures are complete, you enter the dining room. Although meeting Cinderella is a constant for the character dining experience, the other princesses you meet may vary. Possible princesses include Jasmine, Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel. Guests will have the chance to meet four princesses during their meal! This dining experience is considered fine dining, so the menu is prix fixe and pricier than most character dining experiences. Although it may be more of a splurge meal choice, the dining location and character experiences are worth trying at least once in life.

Chef Mickey’s
Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me? M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! Your pal Mickey is cooking up something great at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Guests looking to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto should consider dining at Chef Mickey’s for breakfast or dinner! The meal is a fun and lively event complete with frequent dance parties by the characters, and lots of delicious dessert options. With this restaurant located conveniently on the monorail route, this could be the perfect getaway meal for a day at Magic Kingdom park.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is home to one of newest character dining experiences that features your favorites from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
