For 20 years, Epcot guests have ended their magical day with the popular fireworks show, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. That all ends on September 30, 2019 when the Orlando theme park says goodbye to the nightly production. But come October 1, 2019 there will be a brand-new show to celebrate guests’ day.
Epcot Forever will be an all-new, limited-time spectacle of fireworks, music, lighting, lasers and choreographed, special effects kites. the show will take guests on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot. The show will feature classic music from Epcot like “Tomorrow’s Child,” “Magic Journeys” and more.
Following the one-year run of Epcot Forever, the main new nighttime spectacular, A Celebration of Disney Music will debut in 2020 as part of the multi-year transformation of the park. This new show will chronicle how Disney music inspires people around the globe, and will feature large floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.
Stay tuned for more details on both new nighttime spectaculars at Epcot. In the meantime, don’t miss the final months to see IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth with discounted Walt Disney World tickets here on Best of Orlando.
