Awhile back Disney announced a new Beauty and the Beast inspired lounge would be coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Since this new lounge will be opening in the fall, some more information about this location, including a name, is officially available!

The re-imagined lounge is located on the second floor of the lobby and will be called Enchanted Rose. The Enchanted Rose will feature four unique spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast, and the lounge will celebrate the romance and magic of the live-action film. The lounge will feature a garden room taking its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding the castle. There will also be a formal library showcasing classical baroque designs and French-inspired furnishings. Belle’s flowing ball gown from the film is said to be the inspiration behind the lounge’s chandelier. Lastly, the outdoor patio will resemble the romance and ambiance of Beast’s garden terrace.

With a new lounge comes a new menu and the Enchanted Rose will feature a variety of shareable bites for guests to try! Enjoy an artisanal cheese selection served with pine nut bread and raisins, or white sturgeon caviar served with egg timbale, creme fraiche, and chives. Additional menu items include Mini Smoked Short Rib Sliders with onion marmalade and glacier blue cheese on brioche buns, and Espelette Pepper-Spiced Shrimp or Octopus a la Plancha with blistered tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, and black olives. They will also offer Crab and Gnocchetti Gratin, served with gnocchetti sardi, jumbo lump crab, robiola bosina mornay, and citrus breadcrumbs. Guests can also munch on truffle fries or house-made flatbread pizza featuring seasonal mushrooms, fennel sausage, tomato confits, ricotta salata, and charred broccolini.

Enchanted Rose will also offer a variety of beverages on their new beverage menu including martinis, cocktails, beer, cider, spirits, and even non-alcoholic options for guests of all ages! The Island Rose will be one of their featured cocktails, made with grapefruit and rose vodka, orgeat, pineapple, bitters, lime, and rose water. Another featured cocktail, the Lavender Fog, is made from creme de violette, vanilla, English breakfast tea, dry gin, and cream. The Garden Daisy will also be on the beverage menu and this cocktail is made with midori, lime, tequila, cucumber, and egg white. In addition to these featured drinks, Enchanted Rose will also offer an extensive collection of Champagne and wine by the glass.

For those looking for something non-alcoholic, the Garden Cocktail is made with a non-alcoholic spirit, agave nectar, soda, and lime juice. Another non-alcholic drink is the B&B which is fresh-brewed iced tea, blueberry, lemon, and basil. The Rosemary Cooler is also non-alcoholic and features Odwalla lemonade, rosemary, and vanilla!

The Enchanted Rose opens at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this fall. Although an official opening date hasn’t been announced, we now have a much better understanding of what to expect from this brand-new Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge!
