Walt Disney World kicked off its 50th anniversary celebration in October and the magic is still going strong today. For 16 more months. Disney will continue to celebrate the milestone with new rides, fireworks, entertainment and more throughout the entire resort. In fact, there is so much happening it’s hard to keep up with it all. Let’s break down everything we know that is open and ready to enjoy right now:

Beacons of Magic
All four Disney parks light up for this special occasion during Beacons of Magic. Experience some of Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios’ icons come to life with their own special lighting about once every 15 minutes. Beacons of Magic lights are projected while “The Magic is Calling,” the new 50th Anniversary anthem plays in the background. Which icons play host to the Beacons of Magic?  Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, the Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom and Spaceship Earth at Epcot, which had physical lighting installed specifically for the event.

Cinderella Castle Decor
Speaking of Cinderella castle, the mansion is decked out with 113 pieces of jabots & swag, blue bunting, golden swirls, and a 50th anniversary crest as part of its Royal Makeover for the magical celebration.

Fab 50 Statues
Catch your favorite DIsney character in gold throughout each of Disney’s 4 parks. There are 50 golden character sculptures sprinkled throughout  including such classic characters as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto as well as other popular presonas like the Mad Hatter, Pua and Hei Hei, Edna Mode, Nemo & Dory and many more.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
A Disney celebration isn’t a celebration without something new and Walt DIsney World has opened several new rides and attractions to celebrate 50 years of magic.  Let’s head over to France in Epcot where guests can  shrink down to the size of a mouse in Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Once as small as Chef Remy, guests can race through Gusteau’s restaurant on a hair-raising  adventure.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
Back in Action at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is riveting guests again. Join the stunt team in their new presentation of awesome stunts and presents how movies get done.

New Restaurants and Lodging
We’re so excited about the Space 220 restaurant that opened at Epcot in the Mission: SPACE Pavilion in September. Guests can now dine in outer space and experience incredible views of Earth from 220 miles away. You don’t want to miss this unique dining adventure.

Epcot also debuted Le Crêperie de Paris.  Get a taste of Paris with sweet and savory crepes and when you’re done head on over to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure for a full France experience.

Eats
Disney doesn’t do any celebration without special eats. Throughout all four parks as well as Disney hotels and Disney Springs there are new flavors and textures to enjoy including drinks, desserts and special foods. The Disney culinary and mixology teams have created more than 150 drinks and eats - all inspired by Walt Disney's personal recipes, Disney World attractions, characters and nostalgic dishes from the year the park opened in 1971.
