It’s a holly jolly good time at Walt Disney World! The Orlando theme park is back in full festive swing this year as all four parks welcome the season with entertainment, bright lights, characters dressed in their best holiday garb and of course the big guy himself. Here’s what’s new at Disney World for the holidays:

Magic Kingdom
Things will be even more magical at Walt Disney World this holiday season during the park’s 50th anniversary celebration. Get into the spirit of the season with dazzling lights and unforgettable sights. A highlight of Magic Kingdom’s holidays includes the event Disney Very Merriest After Hours. The jolly occasion takes place during The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Guests can enter Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00 PM and take in all of the usual magic of the park prior to the event. Then make sure to stick around for the new Disney Enchantment nighttime spectacular and a holiday parade.

Hollywood Studios
The Hollywood Tower is getting a festive makeover this season. During the Sunset Seasons Greetings, the tower lights up the night sky with projection effects of a snowy Arendelle, a Muppets gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story toy hotel, and a Dickensian village inspired by “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” The holiday show alternates with the tower’s nightly  Beacon of Magic production. The “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” gets festive with a holiday-themed finale starring Olaf. Santa Claus will “ho ho ho” his way through the Merry Motorcade down Hollywood Boulevard through Dec. 24. Minnie Mouse is getting into the holiday spirit as she plays host at Hollywood & Vine. She’s joined by her pals dressed in their holiday finest, and Santa will be there too!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Discovery Island brings the holiday cheer with life-sized artisan-sculpted puppets that interact with guests. The Tree of Life brings even more magic than usual during the Tree of Life Awakenings taking place most nights. Sing your way into the season as Disney characters set sail down Discovery River and serenade with classic holiday tunes. YOu can even set sail with Santa Claus through Dec. 24 on limited-time voyages.

Epcot will once again bring the holidays around the world to the park during The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth. Now through Dec. 30 enjoy special live entertainment like the popular Candlelight Processional with celebrity narrators telling the Christmas story. The narration is accompanied by a choir of Disney Cast Members and a live orchestra. Other holiday events include Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt where guests of all ages can search for holiday traditions Olaf has gathered (and lost) from around the world! “JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season” features a performance of music in celebration of Christmas and Kwanzaa, at the Showcase Plaza Stage. World Showcase brings holiday traditions to life with unique presentations such as Las Posadasat the Mexico pavilion, the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs in the Canada pavilion, a Chinese Lion Dance celebrating the new year in the China pavilion, a Hanukkah storyteller along the promenade and holiday storytellers in France, Italy, Japan, Norway and the United Kingdom. And of course St. Nick will make an appearance through Dec. 24.
