Epcot’s new nighttime spectacular, “Harmonious” has been captivating audiences nightly at Epcot since October. Part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration'' concert honoring 50 years of Walt Disney World Resort, the 20 minute show is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars Disney has ever created and centers around Disney music and the different cultures that have inspired Disney films. Harmonious offers everything we’ve come to love about Walt Disney World coupled with a message of the magic of coming together. It’s a show that really can’t be missed. Here are five things you might not know about this nighttime spectacular at Epcot:

  1. See Disney Films in a New Light- Harmonious highlights 15 Images from nine different Disney films including “Aladdin,” “Coco,” and “The Jungle Book.”The images have been reimagined for and are presented in their own unique style unlike any way you’ve seen them before.

  2. Show Pieces - If you thought Epcot’s prior show, IllumiNation: Reflections of Earth had a spectacular set, wait until you see what Harmonious brings to the stage. The show features 5 floating barges that range all in the ballpark of being 30 feet wide and 75 feet long! The barges each have custom-built LED panels, lasers, pyrotechnics, lighting effects, and moving fountains. They alone are worth a stop to see this spectacular.

  3. Daytime and Nighttime Effects - Speaking of fountains, Harmonious’ fountains not only captivate audiences at night, but they are also available to marvel at during the day. Whether you stay for Harmonious or not, make sure to stop by the World Showcase Lagoon during the day to see these magical fountains show off their talents.

  4. Musicians and Artists From Around the World - Inspired and influenced by cultures and people from around the world, Harmonious brings a culturally diverse group of 240 artists, including musicians, composers and vocalists to the World Showcase Lagoon stage. For example “Harmonious” opens with a medley of “How Far I’ll Go” from “Moana” and “Go the Distance” from “Hercules” performed by “American Idol” finalist and three-time GRAMMY® nominee Danny Gokey, along with vocalists Elisha Garrett and Ninet Tayeb. Also, the songs from Coco feature Luis Fonsi (“Despacito”) and Joy (“Dueles”). Additionally, the songs performed in Harmonious have been re-recorded in different languages for all to enjoy.

  5. Hopeful Message - “Harmonious” ends each night with a hopeful message of the beauty that happens when we all come together. As the show comes to a close the song “Someday” (from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”) plays with the new EPCOT theme urging us to work together in harmony much like what is shown throughout Epcot.
