Planning a trip to Walt Disney World can get overwhelming. From room reservations and dining plans to Fastpass+, there are a lot of details to iron out for the perfect trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Although some of these factors may vary from family to family, one aspect remains virtually the same and that’s Fastpass+.

What is Fastpass+?
Fastpass+ is your family’s gateway to skip the standby line on some of your favorite Disney attractions, all while enjoying shorter wait times! This time saver opens up your Disney day to even more magic, meaning you’re able to experience all of what Walt Disney World has to offer. To make the most of this complimentary service for Disney’s guests, you’ll want to understand exactly how it works! Here’s a breakdown of Disney’s Fastpass+ program.

How Many Fastpass+ Reservations Can I Book Per Day?
Guests start out with three Fastpass+ reservation per day. Once those initial three reservations have been used, guests are welcome to book additional Fastpass reservations one at a time while they are available. With this system in mind, the best strategy would be to book all three Fastpass+ reservations early in the day so you can hopefully snag an addition 1-2 Fastpass+ reservations throughout the day!

How Do I Make A Fastpass+ Reservation?
Booking your Fastpass+ reservations is easier than you think! Through your account on mydisneyexperience.com or the My Disney Experience app, you’ll be able to make your selections for everyone in your party all in one place.

If you need to change your plans around, modifying Fastpass+ reservations can be simple too! Just revisit the app or website and choose “modify” to change your reservation time or attraction within the park and choose “cancel” if you need to change park locations for new Fastpass+ reservations. The best part is that your Fastpass+ reservations won’t cancel until you confirm your new plans, so no matter what you’re secured for lots of Disney fun!

How Far In Advance Can I Book My Fastpass+ Reservations?
Planning your Fastpass+ reservations is important, especially if you’re trying to secure a Fastpass+ for one of the most popular attractions in the park. Guests who stay on-property for their vacation have the luxury of booking Fastpass+ reservations up to 60 days before their trip begins! This extra time will give you better odds of grabbing a Fastpass+ for Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash, so make sure you don’t miss this date! Guests staying off ground for their vacation are still able to book in advance, but only 30 days in advance. Although this is a shorter time frame, it’s still extremely possible to grab those dream Fastpass+ reservations!
