For the first time ever the lands of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are celebrating the magic of the season at Universal Orlando Resort. Both lands have been completely transformed for the holidays with festive garlands lining the shops and streets of the Wizarding World. Experience new yuletide-inspired entertainment, seasonal treats and a brand new projection show on the iconic Hogwarts Castle every night. We've got your first look at all the exciting new ways to celebrate Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle
You'll be able to experience this all-new holiday spectacle every night at Hogsmeade Village at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The Hogwarts Castle is completely transformed before your eyes using the latest in projection-mapping technology, casting an incredible spell on the iconic castle. You can see students riding broomsticks and creating snowmen, the ghosts of Hogwarts singing carols, a moment inspired by the Yule Ball and more heartwarming moments from the Harry Potter series. This special presentation will be available multiple times each evening, with later show times providing the best viewing experience.
Holiday Performances of the Frog Choir
Also in Hogsmeade you can catch an all-new holiday version of the Frog Choir show, featuring classic Christmas carols from both our muggle world, as well as some new hits from the Wizarding World. Watch as this small choir of Hogwarts students from all four houses, accompanied by their giant throaty frogs, take on songs like "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "Christmas at Hogwarts." One number in particular titled "The Most Magical Yule Ball of All" will surely melt your heart as they sing about the magic, elegance and wonder of this very special night.
Celestina Warbeck's Holiday Show
Just a short train ride away at Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida the singing sorceress Celestina Warbeck and her Banshees are conjuring up four new carols of their very own. Celestina the Wizarding World sensation is performing some of her chart-topping hits from her holiday album including "Nothing Like a Holiday Spell" and "My Baby Gave Me a Hippogriff for Christmas." One of her most beautiful holiday hits is called "A Witch and Wizard’s Wintry Wondrous Land," a song that shows us that there’s nothing better than sharing the Christmas season with family and friends.
Holiday Treats at The Wizarding World
In addition to year-round classics like Chocolate Frogs and Pumpkin Pasties, we can now celebrate the flavors of the season with special seasonal treats and eats. One of the best ways to warm up on a chilly winter day is a nice glass of Hot Butterbeer. Only available for the winter months, this new take on the classic drink is the quickest way to get into the holiday spirit. When it's time for lunch or dinner your family can partake in a special holiday feast now available at both Three Broomsticks and the Leaky Cauldron. Also on the menu is a traditional Butternut Squash Soup, only available during the holidays.
