It’s beginning to look a little grumpy at Islands of Adventure as the Orlando theme park readies itself for its annual Grinchmas! Beginning this Saturday, Dec. 1, Islands of Adventure will bring Dr. Seuss’ popular book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” to life with festive storybook décor, the Whos from Whoville and even the Grinch himself!

The grinchy fun starts during Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular where guests can watch the heartwarming live show starring The Grinch and featuring music by Mannheim Steamroller. But onstage isn’t the only place where you might run into characters from the book. Whos from Whoville will be strolling through Seuss Landing spreading the holiday cheer.

And if you want even more time with one of The Grinch characters you might be interested in the Character Breakfast With The Grinch & Friends. During this unique opportunity, guests will enjoy breakfast and some one-on-one time with their favorite The Grinch characters for memories that you’ll never forget. Character Breakfast With The Grinch & Friends is a separate ticket and reservations are required.

For those of you who are only interested in trying to cheer up The Grinch make sure you get to the Grinch meet-and-greet where you can get an autograph, shake hands with, and have your picture taken with the famous Christmas character.

Grinchmas is only one part of Universal Orlando’s holiday fun. Over at Universal Studios, you can celebrate the season with The Macy’s Holiday Parade. Guests will be able to experience all of the characters and floats of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade all season long and without leaving Orlando. Just like the real parade, Macy’s Holiday Parade features marching bands, clowns, Santa Clause and even a spectacular tree-lighting ceremony in the New York backlot of the theme park after the dazzling parade. Macy’s Holiday Parade runs Dec. 1 through Jan. 1.

As you take in all of the holiday cheer at Universal Studios make sure you stop by the Music Plaza Stage to listen to your favorite holiday songs by Mannheim Steamroller. The biggest selling Christmas artist of all time, Mannheim Steamroller doesn’t just perform regular holiday classics, they rock out with their own unique versions you have to hear to believe. The acclaimed musical group will bring their trumped up songs to Universal Studios eight times this year Beginning Dec. 1. Other dates include Dec. 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23.
