Since January 17, 2017, the Hall of Presidents at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park has been closed for refurbishment. And although it was originally scheduled to re-open at the end of June, Walt Disney World has announced it will not make its grand re-opening until late 2017. The Hall of Presidents is an approximately 23-minute presentation with a look at each President of the United States in audio-animatronic and multimedia presentation. But with the country’s latest President, Donald Trump, now in place, the show will include all 45 presidents when it re-opens. As is the case with each of the last three Presidents of the United States, it has also been confirmed via Disney spokespersons that President Trump will have a speech in the refurbished attraction. Since Bill Clinton took office in 1993, each President has lent his voice for this show with a speaking part recorded specifically for the Hall of Presidents. All indications point toward President Trump recording his speech soon, with the hopes of having the attraction back up and running by the holidays at the end of the year.
The refurbished attraction, which is one of the original attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park, will feature not only the addition of Trump and his audio-animatronic figure built to mimic his mannerisms and likeness, but also a new sound system, new lighting and a new HD projection system. Stayed tuned to BestofOrlando.com for the most up-to-date news on when the Hall of Presidents will once again be welcoming guests through its doors in 2017! In the meantime, you can meet Trump face to face at Madame Tussauds Orlando. Orlando, FL – 7/14/17 By: Melanie Curtsinger |
