Halloween Horror Nights’ tenth and final house has been announced, and it promises to make the most innocent fairytales into horror stories when it’s done. Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After takes The Wizard of Oz and the Scary Tales label and combines them to create a haunt you won’t want to experience.

The all-new house centers around the Wicked Witch of the West, who has cast an evil spell on the fairytale realm and is tormenting storybook characters and creating cruel alternative storylines. Guests can expect twisted takes on Humpty Dumpty, Rapunzel, and of course, the Wizard of Oz.

Scary Tales isn’t new to Halloween Horror Nights. The brand has been featured four times before including its debut in 2001, followed up by a sequel in 2002. The 3rd Scary Tales – Once Upon a Nightmare – returned in 2008. Scary Tales has also influenced many scare zones throughout the years, including the Scary Tales: Screampunk scare zone during Halloween Horror Nights 25.

The entire lineup of mazes at this year’s event include: Horror of Blumhouse, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Poltergeist, Seeds of Extinction, Carnival Graveyard: Rust in Pieces, Slaughter Sinema, Trick 'r Treat, Dead Exposure: Patient Zero, and the highly anticipated Stranger Things house.

In addition to the final house, Universal Orlando also announced two additional dates: September 9 and September 26. This will make Halloween Horror Nights 2018 the longest in history with a record-breaking 36 nights, running September 14 through November 3. Aside from the ten haunted houses, HHN will feature five scare zones, all centered around horror films.
