LEGOLAND Florida will officially open its new Beach Retreat on April 17

LEGOLAND Florida Resort recently announced its new LEGOLAND Beach Retreat will officially open its doors on April 7, 2017.

The retreat was originally expected to open June 1 but with no unexpected delays in construction it was bumped to April.

"We've been very fortunate with the site," Adrian Jones, the resort’s general manager said in an interview. "We've been very fortunate with the contractor."

LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is a village-style vacation resort with 83 beach-themed bungalows

LEGOLAND Beach Retreat is a village-style vacation resort with 83 beach-themed bungalows offering 166 separate rooms, each decorated with LEGOs inside and out. Each bungalow, brightly colored and designed to look like it’s built out of LEGO bricks, is nestled in smaller groupings around the 24-acre parcel. Each grouping will have its own playground equipment.

Located across Cypress Gardens Boulevard next to Lake Dexter, the beach retreat marks LEGOLAND’s first growth beyond the parks original Cypress Gardens property. In addition to the bungalows, the beach retreat will include a clubhouse with dining options and LEGO experiences inside.

Guests at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat get early access to the park

Guests to the Beach Resort will get early access to the theme park and exclusive use of some of the park’s most popular attractions.

When the Beach Retreat opens in April it will make LEGOLAND Florida larger than the California park in terms of amount of accommodations.

Stay tuned for more details.
