For the first time ever, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is celebrating the fun of the "Big Easy" with Mardi Gras Weekend. On Saturday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 23rd guests can indulge and let the good times roll with limited-time New Orleans inspired cuisine, cocktails, entertainment and live music, just to celebrate Mardi Gras!
Energetic New Orleans street performers and plenty of beads will be waiting for you at the Moroccan Palace Plaza beginning at noon and running until 7:00 PM all weekend. Take in the sights and sounds of this all-new celebration while sampling some of the limited-time food and cocktails.
Mardi Gras-inspired food will be available to purchase as well as specialty cocktails and craft brews. Dig into a classic shrimp po’ boy or a big bowl of hearty jambalaya. Then get refreshed with a traditional Hurricane drink or the signature Mardi Gras Kiss cocktail. Abita Purple Haze and Big Easy IPA will be on tap, for all your craft beer fans out there. You better save room for dessert, like hot and fresh beignets covered in powdered sugar, or colorful King Cake decorated cupcakes!
