Disney’s Hollywood Studios is full of character meet-and-greets. With the new Star Wars Launch Bay that opened last year, Kylo Ren, BB-8 and Chewbacca were added to the slate of characters available at the park, and Olaf is available for lots of hugs in the Celebrity Spotlight, making this theme park one of the most unique places for meet-and-greets at Walt Disney World.
In conjunction with the highly anticipated opening of Cars 3, the latest in the successful Cars lineup of movies, the movie’s star is now available for a photo opportunity on Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! This racing machine with a bright yellow color was a breakout star in Cars 3 as she goes from trainer to racer to champion. In the movie, Cruz Martinez is the finest technician at the Rusteze Racing Center, where she trains the newest rookies. However, an encounter with Lightning McQueen sparks her first love, which is racing, and also puts her back on the path to racing in competitions!
With eyes that move and sound effects, visitors will get a life-like encounter with the famous car. If you don’t bring a camera along, no worries – Disney’s PhotoPass is on hand to capture the moment. And what picture with a champion would be complete without a trophy? This special set-up includes the Piston Cup trophy as well, while an awning announcing Cruz’s name and a black checkerboard floor underneath the car make for the perfect backdrop for this photo opportunity.
This special meet-and-greet is for a limited time only, so race over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios while you can to meet Cruz Ramirez while it’s her time to shine! This is the only Cars meet-and-greet currently available at the Walt Disney World Resort, so the time is now to make your move. And stay tuned to Best of Orlando, as we bring you the latest news from your favorite Central Florida theme parks this summer!
