How Do I Start A Mobile Order?
Guests of Walt Disney World should add the My Disney Experience app to their smartphone before they get to Orlando. This is how you can keep track of your dining reservations, FastPass+ reservations, PhotoPass photos, and so much more! Once you’ve opened your My Disney Experience App, under the “My Plans” section you’ll find an option to “Order Food.” After prompting this command, you’ll be asked to select a restaurant.

Once you select your restaurant from the list, click “Order Food” once more to begin building your order. Make your way through the menu, building your order with everything you need for your party. After you’ve made your selections, click “View My Order” to verify everything is correct before making your final purchase. Once you’ve viewed the order summary, scroll to the bottom of the screen to verify your purchase by pressing the green “Purchase” button. Using the card on your My Disney Experience app, the order is paid for. That’s it! The restaurant now has your order and will begin making it once you prompt that you are there.

When Will The Restaurant Make My Mobile Order?
One of the best things about mobile ordering is that you can place your order from anywhere within the park! If you’re standing in a long line and dreaming about a dole whip afterwards, feel free to place your order for Aloha Isle while you’re playing on your phone anyway. Disney won’t start making your order until you’ve notified them that you’re at the restaurant! By hitting the “I’m Here” button, they will know that they can start creating your order for you so that it will be fresh.

Where Can I Pick Up My Mobile Order?
Each participating restaurant has a designated area for mobile order pickup to help cut back on traffic in the area. In most cases, this area is usually to the far left or far right of the station to avoid an unnecessary confusion. Once you’ve notified the app that you’re there, just wait near the Mobile Order Pickup area for your name or order number to be called. Once you’re taken care of, feel free to sit down and enjoy your meal!

In a vacation destination where you’ll be constantly waiting in lines anyway, why not take advantage of time savers like this when you can. Although Mobile Ordering is still fairly new at Walt Disney World, this program is sure to continue to grow over the years offering more food options throughout the parks and resorts. So next time you visit Walt Disney World, be sure to order in advance on Mobile Order to save yourself some time and a headache!
