Walt Disney World is getting ready for its 50th Anniversary in 2021, bringing at least 50 new things to the parks before the big day arrives. From new restaurants to rides to lands and services, here are the top 10 things to look forward to at Walt Disney World coming in the next few years.

Magic Kingdom

Tron Lightcycle
By far Walt Disney World's most ambitious ride project, this indoor/outdoor roller coaster will weave riders on a motorcycle throughout the Tomorrowland area of the park. Special lighting effects and music help make the experience feel futuristic.

Epcot

Epcot is getting a whole new look! Epcot will feature unique experiences across four sections in the park: World Discovery, World Nature, World Celebration and World Showcase. Here's a lineup of a few things coming to Epcot.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, France, World Showcase
Our favorite rat, Remy, from Ratatouille just happens to be underfoot in the kitchen, and we're along for the ride. Riders take the role of rat dodging all sorts of calamities that happen in the kitchen. As part of France in Epcot, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will join Frozen Ever After in Norway and the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico as the world Showcase's most kid-friendly rides.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Roller Coaster, World Discovery
This indoor storytelling coaster launches riders into the galaxy to battle the bad guys and save the universe. By far one of the largest projects, this roller coaster allows riders to turn their car at 360 degrees and be part of the story.

Mary Poppins Attraction, U.K., World Showcase
A new Mary Poppins attraction in the UK section of the World Showcase will bring guests into the world of Cherry Tree Lane. This new neighborhood will give guests a glimpse into the world of Mary Poppins.

Moana's Journey of Water, World Nature
This whole new water-focused interactive experience will include waterfalls, sounds, and light that connect guests to the natural environment. With elements we see from the film, Moana, we're sure to have a beautiful soundtrack in this new space inside the World Nature section.

Harmonious
Epcot welcomes a brand-new evening digital show to replace Epcot Forever by the end of 2020. With a focus on music from around the world this show incorporates lights, fireworks and special effects never before seen!

Hollywood Studios

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
It's been a long wait for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway  to take it's place at Chinese Theater in Hollywood Studios. Replacing The Great Movie Ride, this new indoor ride is the first to feature Mickey and Minnie. We join them just as a planned picnic goes awry with the help of goofy and a train. Featuring the original whistle from Steamboat Willie and more Hidden Mickey's than any other ride in the parks, this ride brings in a level of digital technology we haven't seen before.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant Toy Story Land
There's a new BBQ in town. Woody and the gang will be welcoming a new indoor restaurant to Toy Story Land as part of Andy's new Western playset area. Complete with rodeo games and festivities, this experience will also include Jessie and Bo Peep in on part of the rodeo action.

Disney Resorts

Galactic Starcruiser Star Wars Hotel
This new Star Wars hotel offers a unique 2 nights or more vacation experience on a Halcyon Galactic Starcruiser ship. Combining luxury accommodations with views to the galaxy and Star Wars characters strewn throughout the resort, this completely immersive Star Wars experience is booking soon, but official dates of opening are not yet announced.

Disney’s Lakeside Resort, Reflections
Nestled in the woods by the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, Disney's Reflections: A Lakeside Resort will help guests get away from it all, but still have boat access to Magic Kingdom for convenience. A brand-new Princess and the Frog restaurant will also be part of this new property.

Walt Disney World Plans
The addition of new experiences, new characters and rides at the parks means there are even more things to do on a Disney Vacation. And with so many new things on the horizon, there is sure to be something enjoyable for everyone.
