Prepare to be frozen with fear in an all-new original haunted house coming to this year's Halloween Horror Nights event at the Universal Orlando Resort. Yeti: Terror of the Yukon will take you to the remote tundra of the Yukon, where the frozen elements aren't the only thing to fear.

This new original house was partly inspired by the Swamp Yeti segment in last year's grindhouse-themed Slaughter Sinema house. However, this year's Yeti will trade the B-movie scares for bloodthirsty terror that will send you running in the opposite direction.

The story for Yeti: Terror of the Yukon finds us deep in the remote tundra of the Yukon, where loggers try and find refuge from the harsh arctic blizzard. There's something far more dangerous lurking out in the darkness than the frigid cold though. We'll enter a destroyed logging camp that has been torn apart, with floors caked with snow, bones and gore. Outside, we'll encounter the poor souls that tried to escape the towering monster, only to succumb to the freezing winter weather.

As if the intense cold wasn't enough to worry about out here, there's an icy terror lurking nearby. A trail of blood leads to caves no one has ever lived to see. You'll hear the screams of others that dared to venture into the labyrinth of caves, and if you survive long enough, you'll encounter the remains of those that came before you. You’re in Yeti territory now. If the cold doesn't get you, they will.

Yeti: Terror of the Yukon joins four previously announced houses for this year: Universal Monsters, Nightingales: Blood Pit, Depths of Fear, and the return of Stranger Things. The Stranger Things maze will feature events and characters from season two and three of the hit Netflix series, including terrifying elements of the upside-down and the frightening demodogs.

Prepare to encounter the terrifying Yeti when Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 6th to November 2nd. This year's event will feature 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, live entertainment and more. It's the world's premier Halloween event, and you won't want to miss it! Stay tuned for more details.
