Springtime is here which means that seasonal sweets are making their way around the Walt Disney World resort. Whether they’re character- and movie-inspired, or only out for the spring season, each new treat is worth trying on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. For those heading to Disney this spring season, here are five new limited-time treats to keep an eye out for in the parks.
Captain Marvel Dessert
The All-Star Resort Food Courts are known for whipping up some pretty creative desserts, and this one is no exception. Inspired by the recent release of the Captain Marvel movie, the bright blue dome-shaped dessert is pretty iconic, just like the movie’s main character! The dessert starts with a raspberry mousse and a golden pastry crust. On the inside, there’s a burst of passion fruit flavor, thanks to an abundance of passion fruit boba pearls baked inside. For a decorative touch, there’s a white chocolate Captain Marvel piece. This dessert is currently available for $5.29, or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Dumbo’s Magic Feather Brownie
Dumbo will be soaring into theaters in just a few days, and to celebrate, Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom is offering a brand-new treat. This brownie is perfect for our favorite elephant, because it’s peanut butter swirled and topped with roasted peanuts and a dark chocolate ganache. As a sweet Dumbo touch, a white chocolate magic feather is placed on top! This sweet, limited-time treat can be found at the popcorn cart near Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Storybook Circus for $5.00 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Russell’s colorful, feathered friend Kevin has landed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and her presence has been an exciting one for guests of the park. Her arrival has even inspired a new cupcake, the Kevin Cupcake. This cupcake is yellow cupcake featuring baked-in sprinkles, topped with bright blue buttercream and rainbow candy crisps, colorful fondant leaves, and an edible picture of Kevin herself. This cupcake is available at Warung Outpost for $5.99 or one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Mickey Confetti Pretzel
Mickey Mouse may have turned 90 back in November, but the birthday celebration is still in full swing at Disney’s Magic Kingdom! In fact, a few birthday weekend-exclusive snacks have resurfaced for the celebration, including the Mickey Confetti Pretzel. This classic Mickey Pretzel is covered in marshmallow fluff, and sprinkled with colorful confetti sprinkles. This sweet, colorful treat is sure to put you in a birthday mood. The Mickey Confetti Pretzel is currently available in Magic Kingdom for $6.59.
This stunning cupcake is inspired by the Lost Princess herself, Rapunzel. The yellow cupcake and topped with a Tangled purple raspberry-lemon flavored icing and a signature Rapunzel braid made of bright yellow buttercream. The Tangled Cupcake is then topped with an iconic edible white chocolate lantern and white crispy beads. This sweet treat is currently available at the All Star Music Food Court for a limited time! So if you’re looking to have the best day ever, be sure to go grab a Tangled Cupcake while you can.
