An all-new original haunted house has been announced for this year's Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Florida. Depths of Fear will take you far down into the unknown realms of the deepest part of the ocean, where monstrous creatures dwell.

The story for this all-new original haunted house has us deep underwater, aboard a deep-sea mining facility. The workers here have found themselves in a dire situation, as they've dived too deep and have encountered a deadly race of parasitic creatures.

Panic aboard the vessel ensues as you find yourself coming face to face with infected miners as well as the acidic monstrous creatures themselves. The pressure builds as the self-destruct sequence counts down to the inescapable implosion of the mining facility... while you're still in it!

Along the way you'll encounter the creatures known as the "Mouthbrooders." These slithering monsters are everywhere, around every turn, and the worst part is they spew flesh-eating acidic eggs at any human they see. Witness poor unfortunate minors that have been infected by the Mouthbrooders being driven mad, all while you're trapped in the claustrophobic mining installation, deep down underwater.

Depths of Fear joins three previously announced houses for this year: Universal Monsters, Nightingales: Blood Pit, and the return of Stranger Things. The Stranger Things maze will feature events and characters from both season two and three of the hit Netflix series, including terrifying elements of the upside-down and the frightening demodogs.

Prepare to come face-to-face with the Mouthbrooders when Halloween Horror Nights returns on Friday, September 6th. This year's event will feature 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, live entertainment and more. It's the world's premier Halloween event, and you won't want to miss it! Stay tuned for more details.
