Happily Ever After debuts on May 12 at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

What’s your happily ever after? Walt Disney World is making sure you find yours with the new nighttime show “Happily Ever After” debuting May 12.

Full of fireworks, lasers, lights, projections, pyrotechnics, and animation all set to an original score, the new nighttime offering is more spectacular than any nighttime show before it.

In addition to the explosive elements, “Happily Ever After” will also feature Disney characters from “Moana,” “Frozen,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Toy Story” and more. The 18-minute show will intertwine some of Disney’s most beloved movies into one fantastical production. Disney villains will attempt to take over Cinderella Castle, but they are thwarted by the Disney characters. From Woody and Friends from “Toy Story” recreating Cinderella Castle out of toys to Maleficent surrounding the castle in green flames, there will plenty of memorable Disney moments.

And because no Disney show is complete without a little magic from Tinker Bell, the tiny fairy will fly across the night sky before the show begins.

The score for “Happily Ever After” was recorded by a 75-piece orchestra in London and includes songs for several different Disney movies, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Jungle Book” and many more.
